Masanga Center Foundation is an organization that promotes the wellbeing of people living with Sickle Cell Disease and their families in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).   At the Masanga Center, we help each other spiritually and emotionally through our community support groups.  We offer health education programs, counseling, doctor consultations, food, and nutrition supplements. Our goal is to help reduce the number of babies born with Sickle Cell by bringing awareness and encouraging screening for the Sickle Cell Trait and Sickle Cell Disease.

• To bring awareness about sickle cell disease;
• To provide health education and programs to improve the quality of life of people
  living with sickle Cell and their family;
• To build self-esteem and self-worth of people with sickle cell and their families;
• To help prevent babies being born with Sickle cell disease;
• To make a special herbal blend available to people with sickle cell.
• To encourage people to get tested for sickle cell trait before becoming pregnant
  or getting married
